The Baghdad Journal of Biochemistry and Applied Biological Sciences (BJ-BABS), an international peer-reviewed open access journal published by the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, Iraq, is pleased to invite qualified researchers and academic experts to join our distinguished panel of reviewers.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

✔ Possess an active Scopus Author Profile.

✔ Have a Web of Science or Scopus H-index greater than 5.

✔ Have received more than 40 citations according to Web of Science or Scopus.

✔ Demonstrate strong expertise and an active research record within the journal's scope.

✔ Be fluent in written and spoken English.

✔ Be able to provide constructive, objective, and timely peer-review reports.

✔ Have sufficient availability to undertake review assignments within the specified deadlines.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Selected reviewers will be expected to:

  • Conduct rigorous, fair, and confidential peer reviews.

  • Evaluate manuscripts for scientific quality, originality, methodology, and ethical compliance.

  • Provide detailed recommendations to assist editorial decisions.

  • Complete assigned reviews within the journal's review timelines.
