Baghdad Journal of Biochemistry and Applied Biological Sciences (BJ-BABS) is an English language, peer-reviewed scholarly publication in the area of biomedical sciences and published by the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University and edited by a group of eminent researchers. BJ-BABS publishes original papers, reviews and short communications on, but not limited to:

•  Biochemistry (Analytical, Reproductive, Cardiovascular, Thrombosis, Hemostasis and Neonatal)
• Genetics and Molecular Biology
• Clinical Biochemistry
• Translational Medicine—Linking bench (lab research) to bedside (clinical practice).
• Agricultural and Biological Sciences
• Medical Biotechnology
• Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmaceutics

BJ-BABS welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence.

BJ-BABS is using the Open Journal System for online manuscript submission, review, and status tracking. Editorial board members of the journal or outside experts review manuscripts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by the editor is required for the acceptance and publication of any citable manuscript.
