Digital Archiving Policy

The portico is a digital preservation service for electronic journals, books, and other content. The portico is a service of ITHAKA, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping the academic community use digital technologies to preserve the scholarly record and to advance research in sustainable ways. Portico understands digital preservation as the series of management policies and activities necessary to ensure the enduring usability, authenticity, discoverability, and accessibility of content over the very long term.
PKP Preservation Network (PN)
Baghdad Journal of Biochemistry and Applied Biological Sciences has electronic backup and preservation of access to its content via PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access.
National Archiving Agency (IASJ)
The works published by the Baghdad Journal of Biochemistry and Applied Biological Sciences can also be accessed at any time via the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ) platform, which provides long-term archiving for works published by Iraqi Journals.
